Havoc 1756 MSTC Review
Performance Data

Loaded Deck Stability
Even with three hunters, a dog, and several dozen decoys, the MSTC gets on plane and maintains stability. We tested the weight distribution and with the ice storm we had in North LA, we probably were well over the recommended weight rating. This boat can handle the load everytime.

Mud Motor Pairing
The MSTC shines when pushed by high-horsepower surface drives. We chose the best in Gator tail 40hp GTR XD. From the turning radius, hole shot speeds, and how it handles thick vegetation even under a full load.

Interior Layout
We went with the gun box and the gun tray to give us the max storage available not just for hunting but for fishing as well. The MSTC has huge storage compartments that most of the time stay empty due to how much storage there is throughout the layout. The one change i would make is the gun tray, giving you the extra 6-8 in more in the boat would be beneficial. I would keep the gun box, not only does it keep your guns and rods dry, it offers more seating for the family and fellow hunters.

The Bottom Line
Is the Havoc 1756 MSTC worth the investment? While there are many options out there for "Duck Boats". The Havoc MSTC is tried and true for the most rugged environments. Is it the fastest haul?, No, but you don't buy a MSTC for the speed especially with a Mud Motor. You buy is for its ability to rugged and to keep pushing forward no matter the terrain.
Rugged Bayou Rating
9.2
The Havoc 1756 MSTC is built for hunters who push hard in rough water and heavy mud. Its wide, stable hull handles a full crew, dog, and gear without feeling tippy, and the layout keeps guns and decoys organized instead of under your feet. Paired with the right mud motor, it runs shallow, takes a beating, and keeps coming back for more—making it a serious workboat for serious duck hunters.
